Blade Runner — Art by Karthik

About this drawing

A poster for Blade Runner, featuring Harrison Ford as Deckard, Sean Young as Rachael and Rutger Hauer as Roy Batty (referenced from screencaptures from the movie).  Done in pencil, with some shades of colour added digitally.

While I think the likenesses of the faces came out pretty well, I am not too pleased with the composition of the image — as both Rachael's and Roy's faces are looking in the same direction!  Also, the "building" sticking out from Roy's head doesn't look very good.

The movie itself, is one of the best SF films of all time, and also one of my favourites.

Dark Fate 2 — a Doom II map by Karthik Abhiram

Dark Fate 2 is a singleplayer level for Doom II, replacing MAP01.  It's a small-sized hellish level — and there's a walkthrough video as well.
