"Smoke" — A Comic, coming soon!

Well, it has been quite a while since I did a drawing, and what better source of inspiration than Illustration Friday for that? The topic this time is "Smoke" and I didn't just come up with one image, I made a one-page comic out of the concept. It's strongly science-fiction/horror inspired, and I think it came out pretty nicely for something done within a couple of hours. Unfortunately, it is not ready yet for viewing — while I have drawn the panels, I need to post-process the thing and actually letter the comic digitally. I will post that once it is done.

But does that mean there is nothing for you to see? Not at all! Here, have a look at the cover for "Smoke", the comic written and drawn by yours truly, coming soon!

Speaking of comics, I came across this very good webcomic called The Retriever, by Daniel Fu, today. I've read the first book and whatever has been posted of the second. The first book provided quite an interesting read, but it was the ending that really impressed me! Anyway, have a look for yourself.
