Doom's Birthday and Doom Center's Redesign

Doom is 9 years old today (December 10)!

I came home today at around 7:30 PM from my project work, and I was really tired. Just sometime back I went to Doom Center and was pleasantly surprised for two reasons. Both Bigdog and Bloodshedder made an update there about Doom's 9th Birthday, which made interesting reading. But that wasn't the thing that caught my attention first - what did, was the new design of the site! Yes, it's their first redesign since the site started, and I like the new look. It's a simpler look with a nice light/dark combination.

About Doom's birthday itself, I love Classic Doom/Doom II because they're great games and I love making maps for them. I look forward to all the new Doom-related stuff that people (myself included of course) will make in the future!

The trailer for Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines is going to be available on December 18. The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers gets it's US release on that day, and Star Trek: Nemesis gets it's US release on 13th December. I think it's safe to say that's a lot of cool stuff to look forward to!
