A new drawing is on it's way. This is a drawing of the movie poster of Die Another Day. I started drawing it last night, and did a little bit of work on it today morning. I'm going to go back to it after writing this, and hopefully I'll be able to finish and upload it tonight.
I watched the movie yesterday afternoon. I thought it was a very good movie, much better than The World is Not Enough, and also more fun than Tomorrow Never Dies. Lots of very cool things in this latest Bond movie - amazing action scenes, an invisible car, and a scary looking villain in Zao (Rick Yune), for example! There were also plenty of stylish shots, and the whole ice setting in the second half of the movie was awesome. But GoldenEye is still my favourite Bond movie - I actually watched it on Saturday night again! STAR Movies showed it on New Year's Eve, 2000; and last year they showed Tomorrow Never Dies. Continuing the tradition, they are showing The World is Not Enough tomorrow night. I'm going to watch it again because I do not remember anything about the movie, even though I saw it in the theatre when it came out!
My Die Another Day drawing is going to have the faces of all the important characters in the movie - Pierce Brosnan as James Bond (of course), Halle Berry as Jinx, Toby Stephens as Gustav Graves, Rick Yune as Zao, and also Rosamund Pike as Miranda Frost. I'll try to scan as many intermediate versions of the drawing as I can. So far I've got one.
Off-topic, during today's project work I realised the true significance of the keyword extern in C/C++. It was what made passing global variables between Qt Designer's forms possible!
Dark Fate 2 is a singleplayer level for Doom II, replacing MAP01. It's a small-sized hellish level — and there's a walkthrough video as well.
