Nicolas Cage plays Randall "Memphis" Raines, a retired car thief. He was one of the best in the business, though he left because he didn't want his younger brother Kip (Giovanni Ribisi) to take up car theft as his career. But Kip in fact did become a car thief, and when he falls into trouble with his very mean boss, it is up to Memphis to save his life. To do that, he must steal 50 cars in 4 days, not an easy job - so he calls some of his old associates, and then starts the fun. The police, of course get wind of the fact that Memphis may be planning something - so two cops (Delroy Lindo, Timothy Olyphant) are just waiting to catch the thieves red-handed.
Gone in 60 Seconds is an updated version of a 1974 film of the same title (I haven't seen it, though I have read that the current movie has very little in common with it). This is a very slick, stylish action movie, with a good cast. The action scenes are of course spectacular, with, as expected, some exciting high speed car chases. There are also some entertaining sequences in preparation for the big job. The music and soundtrack suit the film well, and the movie lived up to my expectations from a "Jerry Bruckheimer Production". The best thing about this movie in my opinion, is it's unique dulled colour look (the film was photographed by Paul Cameron; and the look, if I recall correctly, was used again by director Dominic Sena in his later film Swordfish).
Perhaps this movie is a little long at almost two hours. But it's not a major problem in my opinion, because things kept moving. The characters were also interesting, excepting a few, who didn't really make an impression on me (meaning that I couldn't really remember their faces and personalities after the movie was over). The worst among the characters, surprisingly, was Angelina Jolie's - it seemed like she didn't have much to do in the movie at all, except for just getting her name in the main credits!! Her character was something that could have been played by anybody - in fact, with some alterations, it could have even become one of those background male characters.
Anyway the movie is defintely worth your time inspite of some flaws.

Dark Fate 2 is a singleplayer level for Doom II, replacing MAP01. It's a small-sized hellish level — and there's a walkthrough video as well.
