First post of 2005!
Well, first of all I would like to wish you a very HAPPY NEW YEAR! For the past few years (since 2002 to be exact) it has been a tradition that I make a New Year Card and put it up on my site. This time is no different, as you might expect, there is a card waiting for you right here! I do hope you like it, and for those of you who have seen the previous years' cards (2004, 3 and 2), I think you'll agree that this time the card is something unique! Oh, and there is MIDI music playing in the background of all these cards, so don't open them all at the same time.
I spent the last few days at home in Hyderabad (I arrived here on Christmas morning), but time flies so fast... I will be leaving back to Manipal at 8:45 PM on 1st January. Of course, this time it'll be the sixth term of my course at TAPMI, and this is the last one to go to before completing the course in March.
So what exactly have I been up to in the past few days? Well, I uploaded quite a bit of stuff to my site. You will have to wait for some time though because I have to make database entries for them, without that, they won't show up on the pages. As promised, I have added all my recent drawings, and not only that, some of my recent wallpapers as well. I will make the required updates after getting back to Manipal. I did make some minor additions to the About me page though, so you can take a peek at that.
I also got the chance to watch some movies that I have on tape Transylvania Twist and Alien: Resurrection. Apart from that I watched Pulp Fiction, Hellraiser: Inferno, Saw and Cube again, and watched Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol. I also got to see Ocean's Eleven and The Hitcher (fully this time!), and continuing with tradition, STAR Movies showed a Bond movie on New Year's Eve, so I watched Die Another Day today.
I got to hear two songs from the Saw soundtrack "Hello Zepp" and "Zepp Overture" by Charlie Clouser. Both are absolutely fantastic. And I have also been watching the occasional episode of MAD TV these days.
Well, that's all for now, I will update again after returning to Manipal. Have a great new year, and don't forget to view your New Year Card!
We got a Samsung DVD player at home on Christmas evening. Plays practically everything, DVD, CD, DivX, XviD, WMA, MP3, you name it. Watched Batman: Dead End on the TV. Leaving behind more than a 100 CDs here, but taking back some as XviDs.
Dark Fate 2 is a singleplayer level for Doom II, replacing MAP01. It's a small-sized hellish level — and there's a walkthrough video as well.
