In late 2001, Doomworld used to organise a weekly activity called Speedmapping. The idea here was to build a level on a given theme in just 100 minutes. The theme of the week used to be announced every Saturday on IRC in #doomworld at 8 PM GMT. Participants had to build levels as fast as they could on that theme, and then send their level to the Doomworld guys. The next day, the Speedmap pack would be released with all the submitted levels. I took part in Speedmapping four times.
For me, 8 PM GMT is almost 1 AM (you can check with the time displayed on top of every page on this site), so each time I took part in Speedmapping, I used to stay awake till 3 AM... Anyway it was a lot of fun each time.

Pack #5 - Co-op/Outdoors Level (MAP09)
The theme this time was to build a level intended for Co-operative play. It had to have an outdoors-type feel to it, and it was supposed to have atleast one puzzle that required more than one player to complete.
My level I think turned out quite nicely. This was definitely better than my first speedmap. It had lots of monsters and is difficult to play in Single Player (but it is possible). My entry is MAP09 in this collection.
The exit is supposed to be activated by two players, but due to a bug that crept in, you can finish it even with one player. I like the way it came out, however, and since I also inserted Deathmatch starts in it, it's fun playing deathmatch in it with ZDoom's/Skulltag's bots!
Dark Fate 2 is a singleplayer level for Doom II, replacing MAP01. It's a small-sized hellish level — and there's a walkthrough video as well.
